Rules, Regulations & Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

1. Eligibility & Participation

• • This program is open to Indian citizens only. Proof of identity may be requested.

• • Participants must be 18 years or older. If under 18, parental/legal guardian consent (written and on video) is mandatory.

• • TigerMonk reserves the right to deny or revoke participation at any time without obligation to provide a reason.

2. Ownership & Originality

• • All video content must be 100% original and created solely by the submitting participant.

• • Plagiarism, reuse of copyrighted clips, background music without proper licensing, or use of third-party material (including memes or trending content) is strictly prohibited.

• • You must appear in the video or actively be the main creator behind it. Submitting someone else’s reel or public domain content is not allowed and may result in permanent disqualification.

3. Submission Requirements

• • The video must be vertical (portrait), 30 seconds to 3 minutes long, with clear audio, good lighting, and steady footage.

• • It must not contain any logos, watermarks, or embedded branding.

• • Submit your video along with: Full Name, Age, City, Catchy Title/Caption, A video consent declaration (see section 4)

4. Mandatory Video Consent Declaration

• • Every participant must submit a short selfie-style consent clip (5–10 seconds), stating:

• • “I, [Your Full Name], hereby confirm that the video I am submitting is my original creation. I voluntarily assign all usage and ownership rights of this content to TigerMonk for distribution, promotion, monetization, and any other commercial purposes, indefinitely and globally.”

• • This video will serve as legal consent for commercial use across all formats and platforms.

5. Rights Assignment & Content Usage

• • Upon selection and payment, TigerMonk will become the sole and irrevocable owner of the submitted content.

• • TigerMonk may edit, remix, subtitle, voice-over, brand, or otherwise alter the content as needed.

• • The video may be distributed, monetized, and featured across: Social Media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.), OTT platforms, apps, ads, and future technologies, Promotional materials or third-party platforms under partnership.

• • The creator will not claim future royalties, credits, or residuals, unless separately contracted.

6. Legal Responsibilities & Liability

• • All content is submitted at the creator’s own legal responsibility.

• • TigerMonk will not be held liable for: Copyright violations, Misrepresentation, Defamation or privacy violation claims, Unauthorized appearances of individuals (all visible persons must give prior consent), Use of protected music, images, or formats.

• • If legal action or dispute arises (now or in the future), the original creator assumes full responsibility, including penalties, legal costs, or settlements — even after payment and transfer of rights.

7. Payment Terms

• • ₹500 will be paid per selected and featured video. Payment is: Final, One-time, Non-negotiable.

• • Payment will be made via UPI within 7–14 working days of video approval.

• • Videos not selected will not be compensated or returned.

8. Disqualification & Ban Clause

• • TigerMonk reserves the right to reject or ban any participant for: Submitting plagiarized, harmful, or deceptive content, Repeated policy violations, Refusing to cooperate legally or failing identity verification, Breach of this MOU or any misconduct during the program.

9. Non-Disclosure & Confidentiality

• • Participants agree: Not to disclose backend processes, communication, or internal dealings related to SHORTS-STARS.

• • Not to publicly defame or misrepresent TigerMonk Studios on any digital or offline platform.

• • Violation may result in legal action.

10. Jurisdiction

• • This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India.

• • All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Pune Courts only.

11. Acknowledgment & Agreement

• • By signing this MOU and submitting a video to SHORTS STARS, the creator acknowledges and agrees to:

• • All terms, rights, and responsibilities outlined above.

• • Legally transferring all usage rights of the submitted video to TigerMonk.

• • Being solely accountable for any legal issues or liabilities related to their submission.

12. Content Sharing Restrictions & Attribution Policy

• • Once a submitted video is selected and paid for, the creator may no longer post, re-upload, or share the video (in full or in parts) on any personal or third-party platforms — including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, or reels aggregators.

• • TigerMonk assumes exclusive publishing and usage rights, including first-release rights and control over platform distribution.

• • TigerMonk is under no obligation to tag, mention, or credit the creator in any posts or promotions featuring the submitted content.

• Creators may not demand attribution, brand visibility, or public association with the posted video unless a separate influencer contract is signed.
